Wedding photography at Copenhagen City Hall

Copenhagen City Hall is a great spot for your wedding pictures. The City Hall itself is a beautiful building outside and inside, and it is just in the center of the city - with lots of great photo locations with that "Copenhagen-feel" close by.

Denmark - especially Copenhagen and Frederiksberg - is a popular place for foreign people to get married. apparantly Copenhagen is the Las Vegas of Europe, cause you only need your id to get married here - whereas in other countries it takes a lot of paperwork.

Actually every 3rd wedding at Copenhagen City Hall is non-Danish!

I have shot a lot of weddings at Copenhagen City Hall over the years. Varying from only the ceremony and a few shots in the City Hall Court Yard to full day wedding experiences with photo shoots on locations all over the city.

Copenhagen City Hall is centrally located close to the main train station, "Strøget" - the pedestrian street, cafes and bars and just across the street from Tivoli Gardens. There are lots of great locations with a "Copenhagen Feel" just around the City Hall - and if you want to go for a short walk, locations like Christiansborg Castle, the canals and the small streets in the old town are within walking distance.

I can also give you advice, if you need help finding a venue for drinks og reception. Please don't hesitate to ask.

City Hall weddings including the ceremony and 1 hour photography afterwards start at DKK 3500/€470.

After this an hourly rate is DKK 800/€110.

If you are getting married at Frederiksberg City Hall, the prices and padkages are the same. Her you have the beautiful Frederiksberg Gardens with lakes and castle for a location just around the corner.

Up the winding stairs from the main hall, you'll find the wedding room.

Gay weddings are very big at Copenhagen City Hall.

Gia and Tiago live in Germany and came to Copenhagen City Hall to get married. Their wedding portraits were taken at City Hall, Rådhuspladsen and ar and around Admiral Hotel, where they were staying with their family.
